Isle of Dreams

I am one of the sisters of Michael O’Hara, and our parents taught us unconditional love in both Christ, as well as nurturing us with their own unconditional parental love. Nonetheless, during my teen years, I began to rebel, (“doing my own thing”), against those same values. For example, only taking one hit off that joint of marijuana, having illicit sex as long as it was with one man at a time, and calling it “love“. I reasoned that as long as I held onto my “core belief “ in Christ, and just dabbled in the pleasures of the flesh, I was still all right in the eyesight of God.

Throughout my life, God was calling me into the ministry, even when I married very young, had my first two children, divorced, married again, and then had an Autistic child- (my joy and my tears). In the midst of all of my life choices, some good and some bad, God has always been my protector and my guide! After my second disastrous marriage was finally over, I thought I’d never find real and lasting love. God sent, Cornell into my life, and he is the blessing of marital fulfillment I had always yearned for.

When my dear brother, Michael and Robert Johnson began to write “Isle” under the anointing of the Lord, my husband and I immediately embraced it with our whole hearts. Michael invited us to become a part of the cast, and I was offered the role of “The Harlot of Babylon”. I can relate to her wicked and deceptive ways, because I have used my feminine wiles of seduction and temptation to ensnare men before in my life. Now, I can expose her to the world and help women,… and men to stand against the temptations of the flesh. What may “feel so good” at the time, can have dire consequences, and land you in hell if you aren’t careful! I know…. It almost happened to me! And it has been through the annointed music and ministry of "The Isle of Dreams", that my husband, Cornell, and I have both come into the fullness of our lives which we live for and through Christ Jesus! Thank God, we're free!
