Isle of Dreams

I was given a death sentence by my ex-husband, having been infected and diagnosed with full blown “Aids”, and I didn’t know it! Oh, I came from God fearing parents alright! My father is the Bishop of his own church, “New Northside M.B. Church” of St. Louis. Raised in holiness, I had my fair share of childhood indiscretions, but nothing to warrant such a things as “Aids“, or so I felt, and I took my marriage vows quite seriously! I also grew up with Michael O’Hara in the church world. His late father mentored mine. I didn’t understand how I would cope with this disease. I couldn’t see straight for a while, as you can imagine. However, through the healing power of God, He has restored my body from the flames my ex-husband pushed me into, gave me a new husband, three beautiful children, called me into the ministry like my dad, and supremely blessed me with the role of “Martha” in “Isle”.

Because of Ruth Nichols reintroducing me to Michael, he auditioned me over the phone to Robert Johnson, and they agreed that I should take over the role after another person vacated it. Henceforth, I have become a new creature in Christ, stronger than I was, and on fire to do God’s will. I have remained “Aid’s” undetectable for nine years now, and am living my dream and vision of lifting up the name of Jesus all over this troubled world. I thank the Lord for this golden opportunity to serve Him with all of the gifts He has given me. And like “Lazarus”, God can literally bring you back from worse than death!
