I wish to pay the sincerest tribute to Karen Kolkmeyer who is the incredible lady and dear friend who co-wrote with me some of my most recognized and memorable Sheik songs that became the standards that SheikFreaks everywhere still demand I perform even today with my new band Resurrection! Here are some of the names- "55 Highway", "714", "Cruisin' on the Clouds", "Pay to Play", "Running Wild in the Streets", "City of Madness", "I Know a Place", among others! People know her as Karen, but I know and will always love her as (Ms. K.) Love, respect, gratitude- Your M.

Sometimes a man needs to lean on something!

Here are the two new CD's of SheikSongs I was blessed to record with Marty the last two and a half years of his life, thank God!

"Time waits for no one," someone said, and this is true for me too as I approach my sixty second birthday! I am totally grateful to all our legions of fans who loved, supported, forgave, applauded, drove hundreds of miles to see us, shared our hopes and dream and theirs too, laughed with us, cried with us and stuck by us all through those wonderful, wacky, and crazy fun filled times! Though my former band (The Sheikswill never be able to perform again...I hope my coming out of retirement means that I can carry on the rich traditions we set forth in the '80's and 90's! With my new band Resurrection  I plan on carrying the torch to greater heights and deeper depths to once again emerge as... The Sheik!

Put 'em up, put 'em up... Anybody spoilin for a fight...lol

The artistry... The Passion... Wow!

I pause now to pay tribute to the late great Leslie Martin Dunard who was my lead guitarist and dearest friend... Marty was sweet, kind, generous, thoughtful, funny, grounded, and the best darn guitar player I've ever had the blessings of knowing and playing with... He was also a little hooligan too! lol
